Jana Meister is a Kansas City based Fashion Blogger and Wardrobe Stylist. She has spent the past several years working in the Kansas City fashion industry as the official stylist and blogger for Summit Fair Shopping Center, a board member of Fashion Group International KC, and a freelance stylist and fashion writer for local magazine publications. She is co-founder of Glam Gals KC - a group of women sharing their knowledge for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle through small workshop events, and also frequently appears on morning news sharing her knowledge of current fashion trends and style tips.

 

Jana spent time in college studying fashion design and visual merchandising in Chicago before returning to Kansas City to obtain her Fashion Merchandising degree from JCCC in 2009. After years working in retail management she started her fashion blog in April of 2012 as a way to document her love for styling and her growing involvement in the fashion industry. She recently launched her own styling and blogging business and has worked with several well-known fashion brands and boutiques including Nike, Tivol, Off Broadway Shoes, and Macy’s.

 

Some of her biggest blogging accomplishments include winning two trips to New York City!  The first as a guest to New York Fashion Week with designer Trina Turk and the second trip, a shopping spree with fashion blogger Jessie of Style and Pepper. She has had a photo featured in InStyle Magazine and was a finalist to join designer Nanette Lepore in a Diet Dr. Pepper commercial as part of the “One of A Kind” campaign!
