In March of 2009 Layne Haley Whitehouse made the jump to being self employed.  What started out as a photography hobby became her career and put her in the path of Teisha Barber via a runway show. In 2011 Layne joined the Kansas City Fashion Week committee as the Creative Director. The growth in the fashion scene in Kansas City excites her and she loves helping Kansas City grow and be recognized in the fashion industry.

Going beyond the lens, Layne spends her time as a triathlete, personal trainer, and mom to twin girls.  With her passion of philanthropy continously growing, Layne has shifted to her new role as Fundraising Co-Chair for KCFW.  She is excited to work with various charitable organizations and help KCFW make a difference in our community.
