Jason Atherton

Atherton has been a Kansas City native since birth.  He graduated from The University of Kansas in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration.  Today he works in finance & accounting by day, photography by weekend and night, and is an around the clock husband and father of four boys.  An interest in black and white photography during high school has turned into a profession.  Specific photography interests include event, concert/music, and fashion.

 

Atherton joined KCFW with our first show in the 2012 Fall/Winter season as an official KCFW photographer.  Seven seasons later, Atherton now joins the Kansas City Fashion Week team as the Photography Director in 2016.  His aspiration is to help take the premiere Kansas City fashion event to the next level.
