Model Highlight: Victoria Gevorkov

We took the time to get to know model Victoria Gevorkov and learned about her history as a KC model and what she does in her free time (spoiler allert: it involves yoga and hanging with her BFF).

How did you get started as a model in KC? I started modeling when I became a last minute replacement for a model who canceled with her swimsuit designer at the KCFW Spring 2012 show. How many seasons have you been involved with KCFW?

I've been on the runway for 6 seasons now.

What is your all time favorite look you have ever worn on KCFW runway?

One of my most beloved looks is when Andrea Minnette Bledsoe of Recrudescence adorned me with a copper collar statement piece. I just felt so regal. Who is your favorite KC designer?

There are too many to just name one! I love the amazing craftsmanship Sara Kahrs presents in all her garments! Ami Beck of Dolyn Bags also stole my heart away with her gorgeous handcrafted leather bags last season.

How has modeling for KCFW affected your life?

I have met people I can just be goofy with behind the scenes. Real friends. So many memories being a part of the awesome storm that is KCFW and it's definitely the time of year I look forward to most.

When you aren’t modeling, what takes up your time?

Going on long drives with my best friend. What is your favorite spot in KC to hang out?

Plaza or Westport are my go to's. How do you prepare for an upcoming KCFW season?

Yoga and home cooking. Plus water. Water. Water. What is your favorite type of music to walk to? I love it when the designers add a personal touch and make their own unique mix.
