There are so many things that go on behind the scenes to prepare for a season of runway shows and events during Kansas City Fashion Week. The committee, designers, hair & makeup artists, and stylists are continually working on every detail of each show months in advance. As soon as one season ends, it's on to the next!
Promotional photo shoots are one aspect of each season that are extremely important leading up to the week of runway shows. These photos are used for print advertising, social media, and marketing to promote and share what's planned for the runway each season! As you can imagine, it takes a talented group of people to pull off a successful shoot in a limited amount of time. KCFW designers, hair and makeup teams, stylists, models, and our photography director come together to create the images that will be used. Over a few hours there are countless outfit changes and hundreds of images taken that will eventually become the KCFW promotional campaign for the S/S '17 season!
