KCFW Ambassador Spotlight: Ashley White

Ashley White of Le Stylo Rouge took the time to tell us a little about herself and her Kansas City style blog. Learn more about the blogger below:

In a brief summary, what is your media outlet about?

LSR is a little corner of the web I’ve turned into my fashion playground and a place where I can share various experiments in outfitting. Fashion is a fun form of self-expression; a daily adventure in what works, what doesn’t and what can be re-imagined in terms of my wardrobe.

What three words describe your personal style?

Tough, eclectic and adventurous.

Why do you keep returning to KCFW as official media?

KCFW does a killer job of showcasing our local talent, in addition to bringing in designers from other parts of the US. I always have a blast and walk away completely reinvigorated and ready to try some new and interesting trends.

Which KCFW designers do you look forward to seeing?

I’m a huge fan of Alicia Janesko and Heidi Herman, and am really looking forward to seeing what Joshua Christensen from Project Runway puts together. It’s going to be another amazing week!

Which KCFW event are you most looking forward to? Why?

Wednesday’s night Runway on the Rooftop at the One-Light rooftop pool is a must for me- what better way to enjoy fashion than with the gorgeous KC skyline as a backdrop?
