What to Wear: Bubbly + Bow Ties Kick-Off Party!

The upcoming season of Kansas City Fashion Week is right around the corner! The schedule is jam packed with events and three nights of runway shows. Bubbly + Bow Ties is the official kick-off party on Wednesday March 16th! It's a celebration of the Kansas City fashion community and the KCFW Fall/Winter 2016 collections!
Hosted at Counter Point Event Space in the heart of the Crossroads Art District, the bubbly event includes a designer presentation from Dolyn Bags and Keefe Cravate, a beauty bar by Posh KC Blowdry Bar, light bites, complimentary champagne from Cooper's Hawk, and more! The Bubbly + Bow Ties party is black tie cocktail attire. What does that mean, you ask? Well, men are given the option of either wearing a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie. Ladies have the option to wear a long dress or a party-ready cocktail dress. You aren’t expected to dress as if you are attending the 2016 Academy Awards, but the dress code stills calls for formal attire. Remember, this is a fashion event so have some fun styling your look!

The best way to make sure you are in the perfect party attire is to wear a pretty party dress short or long and statement jewlery! If all else fails, pull out your little black dress and jazz it up with some sparkly accessories! A black suit with a bow tie for the guys.
